DESCRIPTION
In this 7-week class, children will explore the world of improvisation. Theater games will serve as the foundation to create a safe and supportive space for children to take creative risks as they share their imaginative silliness and creativity through improvisation. The class culminates in a silly showcase of fun with the ensemble showing off some basics of improv theater. A great balance of theater learning and just being plain silly. Sure to boost your child's creativity and self-confidence. Ages 8 to 12. Maximum 12 kids. |
HEALTH AND SAFETY
All classes will follow Covid-19 safety procedures set forth by the CDC and state. If you have questions about Good Medicine's safety protocols before registering, please contact Program Director Kristie Vuocolo at [email protected] |
THE TEACHER - Duce Black
After completing his degree in K-12 visual art education at Otterbein University, Duce moved to New York and began pursuing a career in the performing arts. He studied with the Upright Citizens Brigade, founded by Amy Poehler, where he was accepted into their advanced study program and began regularly performing at improv theatres and comedy clubs around the city. He is excited to share his passion and experience with the next generation. |
